Sports and Walk in Nature Activity
1. Walk and physical exercises
Our students visited a very popular forest near our school called ‘Bródnowski forest’ (Lasek Bródnowski). The place of relaxing for many Varsovians. The aim of this walk was to show our students how beautiful local nature is, how it changes in different seasons, how can they use it to keep fit and healthy connecting walk and simple physical exercises. This forest is also important from the historical point of view because on its area there is the oldest settlement in Warsaw (IX century).

3.The Cooper test is a test of physical fitness.
In the original form, the point of the test is to run as far as possible within 12 minutes.
The test is meant to measure the condition of the person taking it. Therefore, it is supposed to be run at a steady pace instead of sprints and fast running. The outcome is based on the distance the test person ran, their age and gender.
Here we have the results of the Cooper test done with 18 students (9 males & 9 females) of Year 3h (aged 14).
